Issues With the Never Again Movement

The shooting last Valentine's Day at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, prompted a wave of student and parent activism for stricter gun laws not seen after previous massacres.

One-time Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Nicholas Cruz, opened fire at the school in Parkland, Florida, killing 17 students and staff members. As the rampage unfolded, student David Hogg began to film his and fellow students' need for change while hiding in a dark cupboard. "I call legislators of this country to have action and terminate this from happening," Hogg said. "Thousands of people accept died from gun violence and information technology's fourth dimension to accept a stand. Forget the NRA. Forget the political bankroll. Take a stance for human lives, for children's lives."
